Located at the tip of Prince Edward Island overlooking the ocean. Within the complex are a gift shop, restaurant, and wind energy interpretive centre.

The food was excellent, but the service was quite lacking. Our waitress didn't introduce herself, just informed us quickly of the specials and poured us each a glass of water. When she came back to take our order, my husband asked for her opinion as he was trying to decide between 2 different menu options, and the waitress told us she didn't eat seafood, so couldn't recommend anything for him (by the way, this is a seafood restaurant - if she didn't like seafood, she should have at least been knowledgeable about the menu items and what is popular there). My husband and I each ordered a glass of wine, an appetizer, and an entree. Each time the waitress brought a plate to the table, she handed it to us and made us take it instead of placing the plate on the table in front of us. When she brought the entrees, she passed them to us and left the table immediately, before asking us if there was anything else we needed (and before I could ask for an item). She did not offer to refill our water or ask us if we would like another glass of wine at any point during our meal.

Previous reviewers have stated that at time of their visit that the building was closed and appeared abandoned - I feel it is worth clarifying that this is simply due to the fact that the restaurant is seasonal, and only open during tourist season: late spring, summer and early fall - it closes for the season after Thanksgiving weekend.

Not impressed at all. Not a fine dinning restaurant. Just a "no competition with great view and high prices" restaurant.

I can't rate this restaurant on its awesome beautiful view, which it greatly offers.

This is a lovely spot where I regularly bring guests visiting from out of town, largely due to the stunning view of the cape and reef with panoramic views of water, friendly and helpful service and wonderful seafood - the bacon wrapped scallops and fish and chips are my favourites, although friends highly enjoyed the mussels and lobster rolls. I think it would be hard to go wrong with the simple but delicious seafood dishes here.

When we went to pay our bill, the manager asked how our meal was and we told her exactly what I have said above. It seemed as though she did not believe us, and said, "I've never heard that before about [waitress]". As a paying customer with a bill over $100, this is not the reaction I would have expected from a manager of a restaurant that charges fine dining prices. This rating may have been a 3-star if the manager had taken our feedback serioisly and did not speak to us in a such condescending manner. However, I am forced to give a 1-star rating as I can only rate the restaurant quality based on our experience, as the reaction from management left a sour taste in our mouths for the rest of the evening.

The food though, left us hungry and disappointed. I had a lobster roll which French fries. Fries were good, though served as is, no dipping or anything. Quite simple. My lobster roll tasted of mayo and butter. That's all. I don't even think the lobster was cooked on site. The mayo was the same you can buy at any store and no seasoning at all. Hair in my coleslaw and in my girlfriend's coleslaw.

She had the cold platter with seafood. It came as a mountain on the plate but consisted of 80% romaine lettuce with store bought Caesar dressing. Tasteless shredded lobster. She loved the shrimps and the potato salad though.

It took some time for food to get on our table. We heard the waitress saying to other people that one table ordered three lobster plate so the kitchen was being busy. Except... Only half the tables were occupied. If cooking three lobster can slow down this kitchen, I highly doubt our lobster plate were cooked on site and that they even take themselves seriously.
